LGH Australia – major move to Push Expansion into new markets

At LGH Lifting Gear Hire, we are one of the largest companies specialising exclusively in the hire of lifting and transport equipment. We have now reached another milestone in the expansion of our potential and the development of new markets: the official opening of our new location in Australia.

Headquartered in Somersby, Central Coast, New South Wales, LGH Australia will offer a wide range of core rental equipment including hoists and clamps, lifting equipment such as hydraulic cylinders, rigging equipment, round slings and modular spreaders. General material handling equipment and related equipment will also be offered. Sales will initially focus on the New South Wales region, but the fleet will be available nationwide.

At LGH, we are active in almost every practical market sector where heavy loads need to be transported within Europe and North America.

Australia has been a favoured target for our expansion due to the similar market size in the construction, infrastructure, mining, energy, petrochemical, marine and offshore sectors. Another advantage: the hire of lifting equipment is not unknown on the Australian market. Our eight-strong launch team will therefore initially focus on maintaining LGH's long-standing focus of providing our broad expertise and technical know-how to local contractors, as well as the highest levels of customer service and quality equipment.

Australia - similar market, new potential

We continue to work to maintain and develop strong partnerships with our trusted, long-term supply partners, including national manufacturers SpanSet and Durapac, as well as global suppliers such as Tiger Lifting, JD Neuhaus and Modulift. Each of them has been carefully selected for their commitment to high quality, performance, service, innovation and safety standards, and we support this.
