LGH, a leading provider of hoisting and lifting services, today announced that it has invested significantly in new electric chain hoists from Kito, a high-quality manufacturer based in Japan with over 80 years of experience. The investment is part of LGH's commitment to providing its customers with the latest, most innovative equipment within the industrial plant, wastewater, and wind power generation industries.
LGH has chosen to invest in two Kito electric chain hoist models, via their Premium Partner Glettenberg Hebezeug Service GmbH: the ER2 and the EQ. The ER2 lifts loads up to 20t capacity and is suitable for the toughest conditions due to its durable construction. The EQ lifts loads up to 1t capacity and has a lightweight and compact body, fast lifting speed, and precise positioning of the load. Both models have enhanced safety features.
The new electric chain hoists will be added to LGH's existing fleet of rental equipment. This will give LGH's customers more options to choose from and ensure that they have quick access to the right equipment for their needs.
"We are always looking for ways to improve and modernise our fleet, and provide our customers with the best possible service and highest quality products," said Phil Smith, Group Operations Director. "Our investment in new electric chain hoists from Kito is a reflection of this commitment. We are confident that these hoists will be a valuable asset to our fleet and will help us to continue to meet the needs of our customers."
