Steel stairs in an atrium

Posted in: Case Studies
Willem van Nes of Nemico called on LGH equipment for the installation of four steel stairs in an atrium of an office building in Hoofddorp. We supplied a hoist and an 8.4 meter long lifting beam. The lifting beam was placed on gantry legs and then the stairs could be placed. These weigh about 2,200 kilos each and the highest stairs were placed at a height of 22 metres. The advantage of this solution was that there was no need to apply for permits to use a crane, thus saving time.
